With helping hands, together we stand!

We strive to ensure that people living with a disability enjoy life with equality and fairness.

Relationship

Our relationship is with the people we support We provide services and supports to all Australian citizens to enable sustainable respectful relationships focusing on development and nurturing which has proven to be a crucial foundation for mental health, general well-being and overall resilience. People are given the support and tools to work together for health and safety of individuals with disabilities, older people and other family members.

Client independence

Client independence by being supportive the goal is to make things more manageable for the person but not to the point where the caregiver is doing all the work. Train the client to make decisions by introducing choices a series of options they can choose from when deciding the simplest aspects of everyday life. Example dressing. Patient and positive caregivers are very powerful because they can inspire their clients to do better.

Fairness and Respect

Disability does not mean inability. You often find that people living with a disability are left out or do not wish to do certain things because they are different. That’s where ELITE IN CARE can help. We believe everyone should be treated equally and we are here to support you to do the things you love without limits and with respect

Dignity

Dignity of risk is the right of a person including those with a disability to make choices and take risks in order to learn, grow and have a better quality of life. The concept is based on self-determination and the freedom to exercise control over your own life. It is an acknowledgement that living a full life involves taking risks and that caregivers should be concerned with quantity and quality of life when providing care.
